Module 2 of the Leaders for Excellence and Public Service (LEAP) Open Government Fellowship Program was successfully convened on April 23 and 24, 2026.
This module focused on the challenges, best practices, and practical workshops related to integrating open government principles within the local government unit (LGU) setting.
Distinguished resource speakers imparted their expertise and experiences, namely: Pasig City Councilor Paul Senogat, Ms. Patricia Reyes of the UP Resilience Institute, Isabela Provincial Administrator Atty. Topi Mamauag, Valenzuela City Chief for Social Welfare Operations, Ms. Dorothy Go-Evangelista, and CODE-NGO Executive Director Atty. Doris Ramirez. We extend our sincerest appreciation for their invaluable contributions and for deeply inspiring our participating fellows.
Furthermore, we express our profound gratitude to our fellow mayors for their active engagement, receptiveness, and unwavering dedication to championing open government and good governance in their respective localities.
In partnership with the British Embassy Manila, the Mayors for Good Governance (M4GG) remains steadfast in its commitment to empowering and guiding our public servants to deliver more transparent, inclusive, and highly effective public service.
