The Mayors for Good Governance (M4GG) announced the launch of a nationwide citizen-reporting initiative, REPORT INFRA, establishing an anti-corruption hotline and an online portal to empower Filipinos to actively fight corruption and ensure accountability in government infrastructure projects.
Concerned citizens may submit reports concerning ghost projects, substandard works, or overpriced infrastructure contracts starting Thursday, Oct. 16, 2025. Reports can be made via a dedicated hotline or online platforms.
To report by phone, the public may call (02) 8459-0143 from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Online reports may be submitted through bit.ly/reportinfraph or mayorsforgoodgovernance.ph/reportinfraph.
The new initiative seeks to curb corruption in public works by providing a safe and accessible channel for citizens, government employees, contractors, and local stakeholders to share verified information or evidence of anomalous practices.
Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto, one of the M4GG convenors, said the REPORT INFRA aims to empower Filipinos to fight against corruption.
“We need whistleblowers who will expose the graft and corrupt practices that are being done in their areas,” Mayor Sotto said. “If we want genuine and lasting change to happen in our country, we all have to do our own share to hold these corrupt officials accountable.”
Baguio City Mayor Benjie Magalong, also an M4GG convenor, added, “The corruption happening in our government is a huge problem, so we need our fellow citizens to help in finding information and evidence about the irregularities committed in their localities.”
Each report received will be evaluated by a dedicated technical and legal team working in coordination with M4GG. Verified information will subsequently be turned over to the Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI), with which M4GG has an existing partnership.
M4GG is a coalition of local chief executives dedicated to promoting integrity, transparency, and accountability in local governance across the Philippines. Its convenors include prominent figures like Sotto, Magalong, Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, and Isabela City, Basilan Mayor Sitti Hataman.
The group works to share best practices and collectively address issues like corruption to foster better public service and responsible spending of public funds.
