The Mayors for Good Governance (M4GG) today announced the second batch of its new members, adding 74 mayors from various cities and municipalities across the Philippines to its anti-corruption and good governance advocacy.

The new members join the 51 mayors announced on Aug. 30, 2025, bringing the total number of M4GG members for the 2025-2028 term to 125.

Among the high-profile additions are Naga City Mayor Leni Robredo, Valenzuela City Mayor Wes Gatchalian, and San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora, who also currently serves as the President of the League of Cities of the Philippines (LCP).

Baguio City Mayor Benjie Magalong, one of the M4GG convenors, extended a formal welcome.

“On behalf of the convenors, we heartily welcome the new members to the crusade for clean, accountable, and people-centric governance,” Mayor Magalong said. “This growing number signifies a renewed commitment from our local chief executives to champion integrity at the grassroots level.”

Mayor Magalong also stressed the solemn duty that comes with joining the coalition.

“Being an M4GG member bears a significant responsibility to prioritize the people’s needs and to ensure good governance is the norm in their localities,” he added.

All new members will commence participation as observers. They will be granted full member status upon meeting the movement’s minimum participation requirements.

M4GG is a movement of local chief executives dedicated to combating corruption and promoting transparent, innovative, and accountable governance.

It is currently led by its four convenors: Magalong, Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto, and Isabela City Mayor Sitti Hataman.
