The Mayors for Good Governance (M4GG) held a meaningful dialogue with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), led by Secretary Kiko Benitez, this Friday, April 24, 2026.
The dialogue centered on TESDA’s programs and opportunities for Local Government Units (LGUs) to strengthen their livelihood and skills training initiatives. They also discussed ways to enhance the collaboration between TESDA and LGUs to ensure a more direct and efficient rollout of programs that will benefit the public.
Meanwhile, the Quezon City Training and Assessment Center (QCTAC), headed by Ms. Carmel Tordesillas, shared its best practices on the city’s efforts to elevate skill levels and expand its training programs.
We extend our gratitude to Sec. Benitez and the entire TESDA for their open and positive response to our fellow mayors. We are equally thankful to QCTAC for sharing their experiences and best practices.
M4GG will continue to actively coordinate with national government agencies to strengthen service delivery for our fellow citizens.
