To support local transport workers, the Mayors for Good Governance (M4GG) donated four tons of vegetables to the Quezon City Local Government Unit’s (LGU) Social Services Development Department.
The produce, sourced directly from farmers in Nueva Vizcaya, was officially turned over by Bambang Mayor Jamie Cuaresma.
Spearheaded by M4GG Convenor and Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, the local government will distribute the supplies in the coming days to various transport groups across the city that have been heavily impacted by rising fuel prices.
This initiative underscores M4GG’s ongoing commitment to assisting Public Utility Vehicle (PUV) drivers and the broader community during periods of economic challenge.
